Verisimilitude or Enormous Mistake?
I just got an e-mail saying that the next film I’m shooting is going to go into production the weekend after BRXX. Now, admittedly, this is infinitely preferable to it happening the weekend of BRXX, which I said I could not do, but there is one slight problem…
I intend to come back from BRXX covered in marks. I already have several play dates planned, hope to acquire more, and, as this is the first event I’ve attended since I got off the medication that prohibited impact play, I am looking forward to getting beaten on… a lot.
So what’s the problem?
In this film, there is a small possibility that I will be playing a sex addict.
If I am, the shoot is going to require partial nudity (mostly back, nothing explicit.)
So my question is this….
Do I have to restrict marks to places where they won’t show on film? Or would marks just add a hint of verisimilitude to my character? It may not be an issue. I may not end up in that role, but I don’t know what the answer is… and I’m not sure I should ask the director. Mind you, I think he would be horribly amused, but I don’t know if I could look him in the face afterwards. I’m out about my relationship orientation (bisexual), but I don’t tend to think that my sexual orientation (masochist/submissive) is anyone’s business unless I’m practicing it with them. Plus, it’s not like he’s the only one who would see the marks. They would be preserved, permanently, on film for any and all to see.
And I just have to sigh at how incredibly turned on typing that last half a sentence made me. Happy Birthday To Me! I’m a pervert

Good questions and no realy good answers.
It would add some colour as it were to your character but all depends on how damaged she may be as an addict.
Whip marks on the back wont last very long heavy bruising will.
Lots you can do with thighs and tush

It’s really all going to depend on the script, which hopefully I will see tomorrow. It may not even be an issue. But yes, if I’m going to be partially naked on film I should probably focus on accosting people with singletails and the equivalent rather than those wielding canes. Those marks aren’t nearly as… blatant. *grin*
